Nature Network membership

Members of the Nature Network interact with like-minded organizations across the province. We hold biannual regional meetings where groups meet with other naturalists in their area. Our Annual Gathering brings together groups from throughout the province to hear from experts discussing a wide variety of conservation-related topics.

Group Benefits

Member groups develop new relationships and partnership opportunities with other naturalist and conservation groups. They also support each other’s campaigns and initiatives through letters and other actions. If there is an issue your group is dealing with, the Nature Network is here to help.

Nature Network News

Nature Network News is a monthly electronic newsletter that keeps you informed about Ontario Nature initiatives and Nature Network activities. Member groups are welcome to reprint Nature Network News articles in their newsletters, social media feeds and websites.

Regional Meetings

Your group is welcome to attend biannual regional meetings. These face-to-face gatherings promote networking, and offer training and educational opportunities.

Voice for nature

Your group will become part of the Nature Network – the provincial voice for nature in Ontario. Ontario Nature's network of conservation and nature organizations play a crucial role in shaping the future of Ontario's natural areas.

Environmental awareness

Ontario Nature can help you find information on provincial and federal legislation dealing with land designation, forest and woodland management, sustainable development and wildlife conservation. Resources are available to assist citizens with issues involving smart growth, wetlands, wildlife, parks and forest management. Your regional coordinator can also offer suggestions regarding helpful contacts and appropriate actions.
