Volunteer for Nature
What is Volunteer for Nature?
Ontario Nature’s Volunteer for Nature program connects ordinary people with extraordinary natural environments. Through this program, you can take an active role in protecting some of Ontario’s most unique and sensitive natural areas. Working alongside researchers, scientists, local experts and conservation-minded people of all ages, you can participate in wildlife surveys, native species restoration, habitat rehabilitation, trail construction, and other actions of vital importance to the environment.
No special skills are required – we will provide you with all the instruction and guidance you will need to make a difference for Ontario’s wild spaces and wild species. The Volunteer for Nature program is a unique way to contribute to a greener Ontario while learning new skills and developing a deeper appreciation of the natural world.
There are currently no Volunteer for Nature program events scheduled for 2012. Please check back later in the year. For general Ontario Nature events and volunteer opportunities, please click here.
