Willow Beach Field Naturalists celebrates it’s 65th anniversary at the Cobourg Library

On Friday, February 23, 2018 Willow Beach Field Naturalists celebrates it’s 65th anniversary at our AGM at the Cobourg Library. 200 Ontario Street in Cobourg.

Guest speaker for the evening is David Bree, presenting ” Desert to Mountain : Conservation Meets a Billion People “. India has a billion people but manages to preserve nature through a series of extensive nature reserves. The presentation investigates the conservation parks of NE India from desert to the Himalayas.

David Bree is the Presqu’ile Park Naturalist and is well known for his travelogues wherein he shares his observations and beautiful photographs of nature and parks.

Willow Beach Field Naturalists celebrates the special 65th anniversary with a Silent Auction Fundraiser, doors open at 6:30 PM. Money raised goes toward annual scholarships awarded to students in Northumberland County. All welcome – bring a friend.

For several years, WBFN has held a silent auction at the AGM (the February meeting) to support
the club’s education initiatives. If you wish to donate an item or a service, please contact:
