Our Volunteer Profiles
John Gunn is a long-time member of and dedicated volunteer with Ontario Nature. An avid naturalist, John enjoys hiking, birding and participating in many Ontario Nature events. He brings great skill and enthusiasm to the development team as he helps maintain the member database. John is also a former staff member who was Ontario Nature’s Director of Finance for six years. We count ourselves lucky for his continued support.
Ron Corkum is one of our most dedicated volunteers with a passion for nature. A jack-of-all trades, he helps out wherever he can be useful including thanking our donors, proof-reading ON Nature magazine, contributing to our blog, and entering reptile and amphibian data. Ron’s favorite things about volunteering “...are interacting with like-minded nature lovers including the terrific staff and volunteers, and the feeling of contributing to nature conservation.”
Ted Higginbotham is a talented and considerate Ontario Nature member and volunteer. As a volunteer, he enjoys feeling like he is doing his part protecting our natural heritage, which if lost will be gone forever. Ted has reached out to thank hundreds of his fellow members and is currently posting back issues of ON Nature magazine.
