Membership Levels and Benefits

The most essential benefit to becoming a member of Ontario Nature is the knowledge that you have become part of a network of people, from Ontario and beyond, who are committed to protecting, restoring, enjoying and sharing the joys and beauty of nature in Ontario.

Our members also receive a variety benefits depending on membership level.

Individual ($45)

Members at the individual level receive:

• A subscription to ON Nature, Ontario Nature’s award-winning magazine, is included in your Membership fees. [If you prefer not to receive the magazine just contact our Membership Services Coordinator at 416-444-8419 ext. 233]
• A membership card that can be used at our Affinity Partners for great discounts!
• An Ontario Nature window decal for use in your car or home.
• A 10% discount on all Ontario Nature merchandise including items sold on the Ontario Nature Shop - our secure online store.
• Access to Ontario Nature’s 21 Nature Reserves. At over 2045 hectares (5054 acres), Ontario Nature has Ontario’s largest member-owned nature reserve system.
• An opportunity to take part in our Volunteer for Nature program at a special Member rate. Participate in exciting nature adventures while preserving Ontario's wild spaces.
• Voting privileges at Ontario Nature’s Annual General Meeting

Student/Senior ($38)

This level includes all of the benefits of the Individual membership but is a discounted rate for those over 65 years of age, as well as students who are enrolled full time in an educational institute.

Family Members ($50)

Family members receive all the regular benefits of membership plus:

• Family Nature Notes; produced four times per year and delivered with your ON Nature Magazine.
• The opportunity to participate in a special family ‘outing’.

Steward ($100)

Members at the Steward level receive all the benefits mentioned above plus:

• The opportunity to participate in a special nature ‘outing’ held regionally throughout the year.

Bronze ($160)

Bronze Members receive all the benefits mentioned above plus:

• The opportunity to participate in two (2) special nature ‘outings’ held regionally throughout the year.
• A copy of the annual report.

Silver ($325)

Silver Members receive all the benefits mentioned above plus:

• A gift of merchandise, selected by Ontario Nature.
• The opportunity to participate in three (3) special nature ‘outings’ held regionally throughout the year.

Gold ($750)

Gold Members receive all the benefits mentioned above plus:

• The opportunity to participate in four (4) special nature ‘outings’ held regionally throughout the year.
• Invitation to the annual President’s reception.

School/Library ($40)

The School/Library level is designed for accredited schools and libraries, as well as educational centres or nature/conservation centres. School/Library members receive a subscription to ON Nature as well as the Family Nature Notes but are not considered voting members and do not receive a tax receipt.
