The National Magazine Awards Foundation (NMAF) announced the winners of the 31st annual National Magazine Awards at the Carlu in Toronto on June 6, 2008.

And ON Nature Magazine won two awards!

• Gold Award - "What the woods taught me", by Cecily Ross (Winter 2007/08 Issue).
• Silver Award - Illustration by Marco Cibola (Winter 2007/08 Issue)

Award-winning ON Nature magazine was a finalist at the 2007 National Magazine Awards, winning two Honourable Mentions. In 2006, ON Nature won one Honourable Mention at the National Magazine Awards and was a finalist for two Canadian Newsstand Awards.
