The Ontario Reptile and Amphibian Atlas

Over the summer we have been running reptile and amphibian workshops to teach interested volunteers how to survey for these species and report them to the new atlas project.

Young Naturalist Clubs Outing

This past June, Ontario Nature welcomed young naturalists from the Saugeen and Owen Sound Field Naturalists clubs to the Kinghurst Forest Nature Reserve. Led on an informative walk by Joe Crowley, we found plenty of snakes, salamanders, frogs, and more.

All About Mushrooms

Advocate for Nature
As an Advocate for Nature, you will receive important conservation action alerts by e-mail when your help is urgently needed. Each alert includes a summary of an environmental issue and a recommended action. Ontario Nature has recently issued alerts on the Endangered Species Act, reforming the Mining Act and the Far North Act. Visit our website to add your name online.
