Ontario Nature Group Membership Information

Your application for an Ontario Nature Group Membership will be presented as soon as possible to the Board of Directors for consideration. Please ensure that your application package is complete and includes all of the following documents:

Completed application form;
A copy of your group’s Constitution and Bylaws;
A copy of your group’s Objectives, if applicable;
A copy of your group’s current insurance certificate, or a note outlining the stage of insurance procurement your group is at;
Copies of publications or newsletters for the past year indicating group activities;
A list of names and addresses of the current Executive and Officers.
- Please be aware that each Ontario Nature member group must appoint an official Nature Network representative who will liaise with Ontario Nature staff. A brochure regarding this position will be included in your welcome package should your application be accepted.

Include a cover letter indicating that this package is submitted on behalf of your organization for an Ontario Nature group membership. Your cover letter should be addressed to:

Group Needs Assessment
In order to give us a better idea of how to support your group, please provide brief answers to the following questions:
What are some recent successes of your group? ie. Restoration projects, guest speakers, land management, clean ups, etc.
List other conservation groups that your group currently networks with. Please provide details. ie. Joint field outings with the Kawartha Field Naturalists once a year.
Identify a minimum of three local issues or projects in which your group is currently involved. ie. Proposed highway expansion, review of Official Plan, trail clearing at local nature area, bird inventories, etc.
