Join us at the Spring Bird Festival to learn about the amazing phenomenon of bird migration and the importance of bird conservation. A variety of activities will be offered for people of all ages and all birding abilities.

Located on the Toronto waterfront, Tommy Thompson Park is Toronto's largest greenspace and a critical stopover point for migrating birds. More than 315 bird species have been recorded to date at the park!

Celebrate International Migratory Bird Day at the 10th Tommy Thompson Park Spring Bird Festival.

Visit our booth where Ontario Nature staff will be leading the bird box building activity. Other activities will include hikes, workshops (tree and shrub planting, nature sketching, bird gardening), kids programming (scavenger hunt, build a bird box, festival passport, check your wingspan, seed ball craft), restoration (tree and shrub planting, wildflower planting, litter pickup) and bird banding demonstrations.
