Youth Leadership Weekend
November 5 – 7, 2010 at the Toronto Zoo
Teens from across the province are coming together to learn about leadership, conservation volunteering, campaigning, fundraising and more. Many of the participants are already leaders in their own communities and will share insights on environmental action and conservation stewardship. Highlights of the weekend include:

- Nature photography workshop led by Neil Osborne & Conservation by Youth
- First Nations storytelling with Aboriginal elder, Garry Sault
- Behind-the-scenes Toronto Zoo tour
The Youth Council advises us on the direction for our Nature Guardians program and provides perspective and leadership on events and initiatives, including the annual Youth Summit.
