Ontario Nature believes that if we can engage ordinary citizens to become champions of nature, they will provide invaluable support in our mission to protect this province’s wild species and wild spaces. Our programs, therefore, provide unique opportunities for volunteers to actively participate in nature stewardship. Adults and children alike learn about the natural world and become attuned to Ontario’s extraordinary natural heritage, its sensitive ecosystems and rare species. Our programs also bring along the next generation of naturalists and conservationists, tomorrow’s advocates who will speak out to protect natural places in their communities and across the province.
